There are so many things to see and do in and around Llanrhaeadr. Here is a taste...

Pistyll Rhaeadr - the highest waterfall in England and Wales. Just three miles up the road from Eirianfa. A lovely afternoon out in itself -  there's parking, a cafe and an ice cream shop, but the site is unspoiled and is a great starting point for many beautiful walks.

The Tanat Valley is beautiful all year round. This picture was taken in October

St Dogfan's church in Lanrhaeadr, where, over 400 years ago, William Morgan first translated the bible in to the Welsh language

Lake Vyrnwy offers all kinds of activities; boating,  cycling, birdwatching, walking or simply looking

Pennant Melangell. Take a short drive just a few miles beyond Llangynog to visit this beautiful, peaceful place; a lovingly restored church containing the only saint's shrine of the Romanesque period known to have survived in Britain, and a fascinating Welsh legend. Click here to find out more.
