We aim to make your stay at Eirianfa as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

Eirianfa (say Eye – Ree – An – Va) is translated in to English as “beautiful place”. We think that is very appropriate for this lovely old house which looks out across the village of Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant.

We bought Eirianfa in 2007 with a dream of enjoying a better life in the country and of setting up the kind of bed and breakfast we’d like to stay in ourselves: where there is always a warm welcome; where the bed is comfy and the breakfast is tasty and nutritious; where corners aren’t cut; where nothing is too much trouble and there’s always a piece of cake and a cup of tea on the go. And happily both bits of that dream have now come true. It is a lovely place to be at all seasons and we are very glad to be sharing what we have here with our guests.

Breakfast at Eirianfa is whatever you want it to be - from a glass of juice and a bowl of muesli to the full cooked breakfast. Meals are served in our sunny dining room with its lovely view over the village and the hills beyond

We also have a comfortable guest lounge where you can sit and read the papers or a book after breakfast, meet up with your party to plan your day, or, in the evening, play a board game (we've got all the classics as well as some forgotten gems!) or settle down with your friends and family to watch TV or a film.
